Go UP young man!
Today we finally got out to fire the engine again. We put in 1100 ml of peroxide and had a perfect 13 second firing. We burned about 60% of the way through the fuel grain at an O/F ratio of 19. For our next test we're going to load up 1850 ml of peroxide and see what happens when we get near fuel depletion. Since nothing broke and we don't have anything to change hopefully we can get the next test done before a month from now. I just have to machine a new fuel grain and phenolic insulator.
In the video you can see a little chamber pressure variation in the plume. It should be usable the way it is. Also, you can see the plume get shorter as the tank pressure blows down. Overall I'm very happy with this test and I feel like we're on track again.
